Anthon Berg
Danish greengrocer, Anthon Berg, had hopped onto the chocolate bandwagon during the late 1800s. He used his expertise in vegetables and created chocolates from cocoa beans. His chocolates became so popular that his store saw long lines of queues outside. He started handing out pieces of chocolate marzipans to loyal chocolate customers in the queue. Over time, he became known for his marzipan bars, which are now a staple of the Anthon Berg product line.
