Founded by Jess Briley and a company that manufactures chokes, shotgun accessories, gunsmithing, firearms, and tube sets, Briley is also a company that has made a reputation in competition and recreational shooting. Briley also worked alongside his son-in-law to create the Briley screw-in choke system and the sub-gauge tube set. The company gained a further reputation after releasing these two innovations, expanding the business, and growing in technical marvels.
