Brondi
Brondi is an Italian telecommunications firm founded in 1935 by Lorenzo Brondi to manufacture telephones during the postwar years. In 1981, it was purchased by General Electric Company of the United States, which pushed it into the international spotlight. Since 2000, it has expanded into new areas of the communications industry, including data transfer, TV and video on demand, satellite communications, and mobile phone services. It was sold to Siemens AG in 2005 and has since become one of Europe's leading telecom equipment vendors. Brondi is now regarded as one of the top makers of audio/video and networking solutions for both professionals and consumers.
