Copper John
A type of manufactured bug fly used in fly fishing is called the Copper John. It was created by Jack Gartside, who gave it his father John's name. Tom Morgan developed the original idea a few years later, gaining popularity. Its distinctive design is effective for trout, grayling, salmon, and other freshwater fish species. It is one of the best flies for catching trout, especially in the fall when they are spawning. It is made of copper, and its scant hackle resembles a little crawfish.
