Gucci
Set up in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, Gucci rapidly became an iconic Italian brand worldwide. However, the family started experiencing multiple disputes, which the brand got caught up in, leading to the Gucci family being overthrown from the industry. Later, as they tried reviving the brand, they struck gold in 1999, when the brand was acquired by what we know today as Kering. This led to Gucci becoming the famous geek-chic brand it is today.
