Laguiole
Laguiole cutlery is a French silverware brand based on the historic Laguiole design. The trademark became well-known in 1829 when its mayor, Jean-Louis Domecq, sought a method to create jobs and promote his hamlet following the collapse of its local silk business. He commissioned two local artisans to create a knife that he would distribute throughout France. Its knife has an incredibly unique design, with a bee that gives it its name carved on both sides of the blade.
