Nutiva
In 2002, Nutiva launched its first organic coconut oil product. It has been proponents of frozen, locally sourced coconut oil for its dietary and multifunctional properties since then. It was also a critical component in the effort to authorize hemp-based foods. It is still fighting for the right to nutrient-dense, organic foods produced organically, and without the use of chemicals or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Every Nutiva product sold has successfully raised roughly $5 million for sustainable agriculture and the establishment of healthy communities.
