Zippo
George G. Blaisdell, the company's founder, and many Zippo employees, consumers, and collectors have contributed to the company's colorful history. The Zippo collective history begins at the Bradford Country Club in Bradford, Pennsylvania, in the early 1930s. Mr. Blaisdell watched a dear friend try to use a clumsy, Austrian-made lighter, thus had the vision to manufacture a Zippo. Zippo's comprehensive product portfolio contains more delicate supplements, butane lighters with several purposes, unisex perfumes, fashion complements, eyeglasses, and outdoor gear.
